Hernandulcin

There is a wild edible plant called Hernandulcin that is 1000 times sweeter than sugar. In the 1570’s, Spanish physician Francisco Hernandez described a remarkably sweet plant known to the Aztecs as Tzonpelic xihuitl, meaning “sweet herb”.
