Ever made deviled eggs and wonder…how can I cut them in half without making it look like I used a dull butter knife to hack through them? I’ll tell you.
Take 1′ of sewing thread and tie it to the handle of a cupboard door, with one end hanging down. Once you have your egg peeled and ready to cut, cup it in your hand length wise and take the thread end in your other hand. Pull the thread tight and raise the egg up to the thread, running the thread through the egg. Egg is perfectly sliced in half…with no tear or jagged edge marks, or butchered egg.
