When we think fibre in our diets, we believe we are doing well eating various fruits but here’s another option for you.
½ cup of mossberries contains 10% of our daily value for fibre, which is equivalent to ¾ of a small apple, 6 orange slices, a small handful of raisins or a little less than a whole banana.
Alaskan blueberries are higher in antioxidants than blueberries from the lower 48. The reasoning, Alaskan blueberries do not contain pesticides or other chemicals found in blueberries grown in the lower 48.
