A 3 oz. cut of raw bearded seal meat has 80% of our daily Iron value. Let’s compare that to some of the product we call “food” today. To equal that amount of iron, you would need to consume 24 hot dogs (38 oz.), 68 chicken nuggets (48 oz.), 25 oz. of beef pot roast or 57 oz., of canned luncheon meat (pork/ham) such as Spam.
