Koutouki Greek Cuisine-Niagara Falls

My wife, children and myself decided to drive to Niagara Falls. On our travels, we decided to stop and find a local eatery for dinner. We chose this restaurant on a whim, and we are sooooo glad we did.

It has a very nice, romantic, old world atmosphere and were unsure if this was a good place for us. The owner/hostess greeted us in a very pleasant manner and smile, and set a table for us. As I looked around, I was feeling a little under dressed (I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans), as others inside this restaurant were all in casual dinner attire. Our server (I do forget his name) greeted us with a smile on his face and was very helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner.

The side salad served as a first course was so fresh and the dressing just kicked up the flavour to another level…YUM! The Moussaka is amazing…light, flavourful and most definitely the right portion size. Our children had the chicken skewer and fries, and they couldn’t stop eating. My children will let you know if they aren’t happy with what they are eating, and this meal hit a high note with them because they were silent…LOL!

Our server always made sure we had refills of beverage, and I must say, they make a mean cup of coffee! There was not one bad thing about this place, the service, the food or the prices. I am so glad we decided to take a chance on an unknown to us and try this place. Unforgettable!

I do have a tip…do make reservations if you can, because this place is most definitely worth dining at. The staff made us feel like we were a part of their family. The cooks do a bang up job with the authenticity of the Greek cuisine, and we will be returning here again…with reservations of course!
