Have you ever watched a cooking show and were amazed at how skilled the chef was at flipping your eggs, omelets or pancakes? It’s easier than you think.
This is how I was taught, and I am passing it on. Take a bag of frozen peas and place a handful into a frying pan. The basic motion is sliding the pan forward slightly, then pulling the pan back. As you pull back, “flick” the far edge of the pan slightly and quickly upward. The peas will hit the far edge of the pan and flip back. I suggest doing this in the backyard, or in a controlled area, as peas will be flying everywhere until you have mastered the “flip”…lol.
It is a special kind of cook/chef that can do this the first time, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get it the first or second time. It will come and you will be flipping eggs, omelets and pancakes like the pros do!
