In 1976 David Marine died (born Sep 20, 1888). An American pathologist whose research on the treatment of goitre with iodine led to the iodizing of table salt.

In 1993 The world’s largest peanut butter and jelly sandwich to date, was created in Peanut, Pennsylvania.  It was almost 40 feet long and used 150 pounds of peanut butter and 50 pounds of jelly.
